VIDEO: Sneaky dad films daughter's selfie spree

HOW do young people look so good in selfies? Do they just take 1000 photos and pick the best one?

Judging by this one-minute clip filmed by a bemused dad -- yes.

Perhaps to give his daughter a reality check on what she looks like when taking a whole reel of selfies, the father films the whole, strange ordeal.

According to the description for the video on YouTube

"Rod Beckham noticed a lot of movement in his rear view mirror and realized his daughter was in the midst of an epic photo shoot of her own creation.

"After watching and laughing for a minute or so, he realized he needed to capture this for posterity."

It's a scene no doubt familiar to most parents of teenagers.

Obviously the dad should be focusing on the road rather than his daughter's antics, but here we are.

The music in the background is "Let Her Go" by Passenger. And that's exactly what he did.
