Water works around the South Burnett

SOUTH Burnett towns are still on level three water restrictions, and will be until the region receives significant rainfall.

Boondooma Dam is sitting at 32.1 per cent capacity, while the Bjelke Petersen Dam is only at 7.5 per cent.

Gordonbrook Dam is filled to 75.3 per cent capacity.

Meanwhile, South Burnett Regional Council workers have been busy working on water works around the region.

Water main replacements on King St in Kingaroy were 90 per cent complete by May.

Replacements on Alford St and William St in Kingaroy were both 10 per cent complete by June.

Future water main replacements include Youngman St South and Youngman St North in Kingaroy, which are both expected to be completed by August.
