According to the Bureau of Meteorology website, there is a very high chance of rain on Friday December 14.
The weather site has advised there is a 90 per cent chance of rain and a possible rainfall of 30-50mm.
This will continue into the weekend with an 80 per cent chance of rain on Saturday December 15.
A chance of an afternoon thunderstorm has been predicted on both days.

- Stay inside and well clear of windows, doors and skylights.
- Avoid using electrical appliances.
- If outdoors, seek immediate shelter in a solid, enclosed space.
- Stay clear of fallen power lines, trees, damaged buildings and waterways.
