BURGER FUNDRAISER

Friday

As their way of raising funds for good causes, the Blackbutt RSL will host another Burger Night Fundraiser.

From 6-8pm the local RSL club will be serving up burgers at $7 each and $5 for kids.

The bar will be open from 3pm and the RSL Ramblers will play as the live entertainment from 8pm.

SOUTH BURNETT SPEEDWAY NIGHT

Saturday

Kingaroy Speedway will host their Spring Spectular race meet at the racetrack this weekend.

From 5pm competitors will race around in hopes of winning different classes in the first event of the season.

Entry fee is $25 for adults, $15 for students, $65 for a family pass and children under 12 can enter for free.

CHARITY GOLF DAY

Saturday

Proston District Golf Club will host a charity golf day to raise funds for breast cancer research trials.

Golfers will tee off at 9am and play until 1pm where there will be a BBQ lunch for $25 per person.

Through out the day there will also be chipping and putting competitions as well as some raffles to contribute to the total money raised.

COUNTRY MARKETS

Sunday

The popular markets will be held at the Les Muller Park in Hart St.

From 7am people will be able to walk through stalls featuring arts and crafts, food porudce and other locally sourced goods.

MUSIC CONCERT

Sunday

Choirs from around the region will unite for a special music performance this weekend.

The annual event Proms in the South Burnett will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall.

From 2.30pm more than 100 performers will play popular music featuring Australian and British tracks.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for pensioners and students or a family pass is $40.
