Why this year's Spring Garden Expo will be better than ever

IF YOU'RE a plant lover needing an excuse to get out of the house, then look no more.

The Wondai 2019 Spring Garden Expo is the event for you.

Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29 at the Wondai Sportsground, Wondai Garden Expo president Helen Young believes it'll be a fun event for everyone, especially if you're on the hunt for new plants.

"Whether you have a list of 'must haves' or are just looking for inspiration, you won't be disappointed,” she said.

The great selection at this year's expo will be due to both the fantastic stall holder participation, as well as help from the sponsors involved, including major sponsors Wondai Electrical Services and the South Burnett Regional Council.

Ms Young said the sponsored help has allowed the committee to work on further ground improvements, with aims to have a new power head and water tap installations in time for the expo.

"We are really thankful to have such great suppliers as Wondai Electrical Services and CWB Plumbing on our side, as they understand the concepts and importance of this great event and are doing all in their power to assist us through this difficult re-organisation,” she said.

"The end result will be well worth the effort and the displays at the Wondai Garden Expo will look better than ever.”

The Wondai Sportsgrounds will have free parking with space for disabled parking and easy access for bus tour groups.

The committee is also offering a discounted ticket price for people in a group of 10 or more, with reduced prices to be prepaid at $4 per person.

If you want to pre-book tickets, you can send a direct deposit to the Bank of Queensland.
