Woman airlifted after multi-vehicle crash

HIGHWAY CRASH: Two women were transported to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway on April 17.

A WOMAN was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition after a multi-vehicle crash on the Burnett Hwy at 11am on Monday, April 17. 

The woman in for 50s suffered pelvis, neck and head injuries and was transported in a serious but stable condition.   

A second person was transported to Murgon Hospital with minor injuries.  

An off-duty paramedic was the first person on scene.  

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service was also called to the scene.
