Mother of three vandalised area used to help homeless

A MOTHER of three pleaded guilty to one count of wilful damage after she vandalised an area being used by a company providing meals for homeless people.

Tameka Jane Buckman, 22, used a permanent marker to write graffiti as onlookers witnessed the crime.

Dalby Magistrate Court heard she had been "dared to do the graffiti" according to police prosecutor Sergeant Derek Brady.

She was convicted and ordered to pay Toowoomba Council $200 compensation, and fined a further $200.
