Woman claims she was held captive, abused at Mackay home

A SYDNEY glamour model, living in Mackay, has described her alleged abuse at the hands of her husband Shane Cuthbert.

Berenger Rose appeared on A Current Affair accusing Mr Cuthbert of beating her with a metal pole.

"When I met him he was the most amazing guy," she told the program.

"Everyday I thought I'm going to be that next woman that gets killed.

"He would throw my head into walls, would bash my head against the side of my four-poster bed it was like he was joined to me there was no privacy."

She said she didn't report the abuse as she was scared "he was going to kill me".

Since appearing on the show Ms Rose has received support on social media.

Mr Cuthbert was arrested over an alleged incident at a Bowen motel late last year, accused of making and detonating the explosive device.

He is expected to face Mackay Magistrates Court on Mackay 16.

I am honestly brought to tears by the amount of kindness, love and support that I have received from everyone whom has...
