Woman critical as trio airlifted to Brisbane after crash

A WOMAN remains in a critical condition in a Brisbane after she and two others were airlifted from Charleville following a serious rollover yesterday.

The 29-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash on the Warrego Highway 40km east of Charleville about 1pm.

The woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was travelling with two others when it crashed and rolled several times.

The 25-year-old male driver and a male passenger, 17, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The trio was initially taken to Charleville Hospital for treatment.

A police spokesman this morning told The Chronicle all three had been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane overnight.

The woman remains in a critical condition fighting for life.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
