Woman found semi-concious after alleged hit and run

A WOMAN was found laying on the street bleeding from the mouth, eye and hand after an alleged hit and run in Hervey Bay on Wednesday night. 

Queensland Ambulance Senior Operations Supervisor Martin Kelly said the 28-year-old was found by a passer-by semi-concious on Freshwater Street in Torquay at 8.45pm.

While it's believed it was a hit and run, the woman was unclear about what happened.

She was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital 

Police are investigating.
