
Woman rushed to hospital after snake bite
A WOMAN in her 60s was rushed to hospital last night after she was reportedly bitten by a snake at Tewantin.
A Queensland Ambulance Service representative said paramedics met the woman at the Tewantin barge about 8.45pm after she sustained a snake bite to her lower leg.
She was taken to Nambour Hospital for further treatment and was in a stable condition.
