Woman hospitalised after snake bite

A WOMAN in her 70s was taken to hospital yesterday following a suspected snake bite on her foot at Mt Mowbullan on the Bunya Mountains.

The bite occurred at at about 7.50pm on February 12.

When paramedics arrived they were unable to find or identify the type of snake.

The woman was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
