Woman involved in the Wolvi incident three days ago has died
A 27-YEAR-OLD woman has died in hospital following an incident at a Wolvi residence on July 17.
Around 3.30pm on Thursday the woman was transported to the Gympie Hospital after sustaining a head injury during a physical altercation at a Beenham Valley Road address.
The woman was then airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition but was pronounced deceased on Friday afternoon.
A post mortem examination is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
Detectives from the Wide Bay Burnett District Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing their investigations with the assistance of the Homicide Investigation Unit.
