Woman’s face and arms on fire after fuel ignites

A woman has been seriously injured after catching alight in a frightening Christmas night incident on Friday.

Paramedics, including Critical Care, attended the private residence at Coominya around 7pm.

The patient sustained significant burns to her face and arms after some fuel ignited.

She was later transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
