Breakers guard Corey Webster feels benefits of hard work

IF PRACTICE makes perfect, then New Zealand Breakers guard Corey Webster must be as close to perfection as you can get.

"I never get sick of it," he said. "Even now when I get home from training I want tomorrow to hurry up so I can get back to training again."

Webster shortens the gap between training sessions by doing extra workouts with coaching staff, then with Breakers assistant Paul Henare, before a gym session and another late-night workout on his own.

The work is paying off, he's averaging a career-high 15 points per game this season.
