Your guide to the South Burnett Christmas Carnivals
FESTIVE fun can be found right across the South Burnett as each town takes their turn to host a Christmas Carnival.
Come on down to celebrate Christmas for the event that closes Kingaroy's CBD on December 13.
The carnival will host rides, stalls and entertainment along Haly St and Kingaroy St from 5pm to 9pm.
Haly St and parts of Kingaroy St will be closed for the event.
The festivities will be held at Proston Railway Park on December 15 from 5pm to 9pm.
The traditional country fair will hold a kite decorating stall, face painting and a jumping castle.
3. Hivesville Christmas Carnival
Hivesville QCWA branch members will make Christmas cakes and biscuits to give out at the town's Christmas Carnival held on Friday December 14.
The event will be held near the Hivesville Hotel and will feature carol singing, a sausage sizzle and a visit from Santa Claus.
The Nanango community will come together for the town's Christmas carnival on Thursday, December 20.
With the return of the carnival, at Pioneer Park from 4.30pm-9pm, the town will not have their annual New Year's Eve mardi gras this year.
5. Wondai Christmas Eve Carnival
Grab your friends and family and celebrate Christmas Eve in Wondai on Monday December 24.
There will be live music, food and a ham wheel in Coronation Park from 5pm to 9pm.
6. Murgon Christmas Carnival
Unfortunately due to predicted heavy rain and storms, the Murgon Christmas Carnival has been cancelled.
The event was scheduled for Friday December 14.
