ONE of the NewsMail's readers is asking others for their advice after some children vandalised their home.

"Late yesterday afternoon/early last night we had two very young (maybe between three and six) walk into our house.

"They went into our son's room and trashed it,  pulled linen off the bed, threw toys everywhere and even broke trains and train tracks.

"The mother was found shortly after but couldn't care that her two children were in a strangers house.

"The part that is getting me is the fact that they have left a nice big scratch on our new car from riding their bikes between the car and the house.

"What I'm asking is. Is there anything we can do?

"The scratch looks much worse that the photos appear.

"The police have been contacted but there is nothing they can do.

"Is it worth approaching the mother, who lives around the corner, and possibly asking her to pay for the damage?"
